Homework Help and Note Taking Strategies: Perfect for the student who feels overwhelmed. I will review, reorganize and reinforce notes from any humanities class including foreign languages. This includes test preparation and project assistance.
English Language Arts Assistance: Take advantage of my expertise and help your child with: reading comprehension skills, tricky grammar and syntax barricades, vocabulary building, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, writing workshops etc..
College Essay and Application Assistance: In this competitive college market, it is important to be armed with every available resource. With years of college essay prep behind me, I can aid in making sure your child’s essay is going to grab the readers’ attention with a distinct voice that answers their prompt in an original and vibrant way. I will also encourage multiple re-writes, help with time management of both school work and applications and make sure there is plenty of time to get all this done BEFORE the application deadline.
- If travel exceeds more than 20 miles each way, a mileage fee of $15.00 will be added to your session.
- Payment is due at the end of each session. I accept cash or checks. I also take paypal (nsterman@gmail.com), but please note that there will be a 4% surcharge on all paypal payments.
- There is a 48 hour cancellation policy. Any cancellations or no-shows beyond this time will be charged the full fee.
